How Vacuum Cleaners Work
Although it may look like a very complex machine, a traditional vacuum cleaner is actually made up of six important components: intake port, exhaust port, electric motor, fan, porous bag, and others A housing that houses all the components.

1. First, the current acts on the motor. The motor is mounted on a fan similar to an airplane propeller.
2. When the blade begins to rotate, force air upward toward the exhaust port.
3. As air particles move forward, the density of the particles increases in front of the fan and therefore decreases behind the fan.
The pressure drop that occurs behind the fan is similar to the pressure drop when drinking with a straw. The pressure level in the area behind the fan is lower than the pressure level outside the vacuum cleaner.
As a result, the inside of the vacuum cleaner is sucked. The air pressure inside the cleaner is much lower than the external pressure, so ambient air is forced into the cleaner through the air intake.
Pick up dirt
The flow of air generated by the vacuum is like the flow of water. Moving air particles are rubbed against loose dust and debris, and if it is light enough, the friction will carry material around the inside of the vacuum cleaner.
If dirt continues to the exhaust port, it passes through the cleaner bag. The small hole in the vacuum cleaner bag is large enough for air to pass through, but is too small for dust particles to pass through. Therefore, when airflow enters the bag, dust and debris are collected there.
As long as the airflow passes, the bag can be attached anywhere along the path between the intake tube and the exhaust port.
The suction power of the vacuum cleaner depends on several factors. The suction power can be increased
1. Fan output-To generate strong suction, the motor needs to rotate at the proper number of revolutions
2. Air passage-When a large amount of debris accumulates in the bag, the air will face a greater level of resistance at the outlet. Each particle of air moves slowly with increasing drag. This is why it works much better after changing the bag than when the vacuum cleaner has been in use for some time.
3. Intake port size-If the speed of the vacuum fan is constant, the amount of air passing through the vacuum cleaner per second is also constant.
